Race List A complete synopsis of all races within the world of Desdumonae. The Perfect Races_____________________________
Ryuunaka The Ryuunaka are an all male race that both live and travel all throughout Desdumonae. One could say that they are by far the most populace race. Being one of the most populace of the races, they are extremely intelligent and very adaptable to the environment they inhabit. This unique race must mate with a Kire to create a perfect being (either Kire if female or Ryuunaka if male); however, on rare occasions, a female Ryuunaka or Male Kire is born (characterized by the distinct traits of each race) and are thus categorized as an Antiel, a race of the imperfect. Physical characteristics of this race consist of very dark colorings from a deep blue to a magnificent bronze. They seem to be polar opposites of their mates, where the Kire are calm they are full of emotional expression and loud. They share a single trait of unmatchable wisdom. Kire The Kire are an all female race characterized by their pale colorings and unearthly beauty. While Seemingly immortal, they are in fact not but do live extremely long lives. Such women are often calm, quiet and very wise. Their sole purpose is to keep the traditions of the Motherhood alive and train potential weavers. Eresea The Eresea are tall of stature and slender of build. Their eye and hair color tend to shift with their moods. To accommodate their tall frames, they were created with slender and toned bodies with long arms and legs giving them a sort of lanky and gangly look. The Eresea are especially characterized by their long ears the tend to stick straight up, wrap around in a curl or point straight back. Sekurans The Sekurans are desert people who live within the desert of Sekura. The Sekurans are best suited to desert living as they are able to survive the harsh desert they reside in by holding large amounts of water and their skin was created extra thick while bearing natural protection against the great light's intense light. Their skin tends to range from a light tan to a deep, dark brown often appearing almost black color. Their eyes, on the other hand tend to range from light gray to dark blue. The hair upon their heads is normally very long, course and curly can often be found decorated in extravagant braided designs in the women and in braided rows on men. Vahan The Vahan are always characterized by their height of 1-2ft and never stray far from their home among the Danae trees in the Danae forest. Considered a fabled race, they are seldom seen but are known to care for the trees as the Father intended them to do. While their skin, hair and eyes are vibrantly colored by all colors of the rainbow, they are known to cause much mischief to whomever they come in contact with. Anor Hen or "Bright Eyes" The Anor Hen or "Bright Eyes" as they are nicknamed, are an underground race with anywhere from blue to pale white skin. They are best known for their bright eyes that seem to glow in the dark. They can see very well in their dark home underground. They are tall, quiet, calm and unmatchably wise. Although cousins of the Eresea, they do not particularly like the Eresea. In fact, they do not like most races. They merely make truces and live a quiet, peaceful life below the earth. The Imperfect Races______________________________ Tiikeri Asian-like race that have almond shaped eyes and dark hair. They have cat eyes, ears and tails. thick hair or fur-like skin can be found all over their bodies. Hydina Overgrown Vahan and sort of evil twins of the Vahan. Rochelle Rock race. Not very popular but they do exist. Calais Scaly skin, (sometimes) bat ears, possible horns, leathery wings. Burajj Dark skinned but known for being very cannibalistic.
