Good vs. Evil In the world of Desdumonae, there is no "good vs. evil" per say. Instead the path towards good and evil or what we like to call "selfishness" is chosen. A character within the world of Desdumonae has the chance to become a or SageShade. As the names imply, they can easily described as "good" or "evil" but we would like to think that they are slightly more complicated.Sage_____________________________________________________________________ A Sage can be described as an all around good person but to be honest, a sage is not always doing good deeds. A Sage may choose a certain action that can easily be considered and observed as harboring evil or devious underlying intentions but in fact it was carried out with a pure and righteous heart and altogether good intentions. Overall, if the intent of an action is "good" but the action is viewed as bad or "evil", it does not automatically imply evil or devious desires. In the end, a Sage is someone who tries to do good. The path to Sagehood is long and tedious. The character will be tested and certain demands will have to be met in order to bestowed or gifted with the title of Sage. Such testing will be discussed and added to this explanation as soon as it is needed. Shade___________________________________________________________________ In Summary_________________________________________________________ Now, we know that everyone is human and no character will be perfect but their choices are their own and must be accounted for. Just because a character is seemingly "evil" does not mean he/she will be ridiculed and receive prejudice (it is forbidden for anyone to do so). No, on the contrary, we only suggest that any suggestively evil actions toward another character, place, or thing be discussed with and approved by whoever and whatever is going to be involved (for NPC's, animals, objects, etc please get a Mythmaker's approval first).
