Aether__________________________________ Within the life on Desdumonae flows aether, the source of life, power and mystical skills. Living life cannot exist without the presence of Aether. As stated in other sections, Aether flows all throughout the living world as if the world were a large ball of thread tightly packed with billions of threads. Two Paths of Harnessing______________________________________ Learned Although such power is present, it is not easily accessible. Each person is able to tap into the threads weaving their splendid energy all around but the process to learn how to harness the threads is arduous and lengthy requiring many years of teaching and practice. Gifted On a rare occasion, a being can be gifted by the Father with the ability to access aether at birth. Most children that begin showing signs of such abilities are rushed to a motherhood where keepers will train him/her to harness their gift and use it wisely. Mark of a Weaver____________________________________________ All who are able and have learned skills to harness Aether acquire a weaver's mark. A weaver's mark comes in many shapes and forms. Often, it is seen as being an elegant tattoo-like design appearing somewhere on the body. Other forms can appear ugly and resemble a scar or birthmark. Some sprout crystals around the eyes or in an elegant shape adorning the arm or legs. Each mark is unique and denotes a weaver status.
