Whintermoon/Wyntermoon Season of Feasting Season of Blooming Season of Light Season of the King (right after summer and before fall) The year is a cycle that ends with the season of the King and begins with the season of feasting (Fahlharvest). Time Time is counted by phases and a phase is equal to about an hour. In a single days worth of time, from the rising of the great light and including its disappearance that evening to one phase before its rise the next day, there are twenty-five phases. Time is counted by the burning of a Phasier or Phase candle carefully and pridefully crafted by the Candle Making Guild so that it perfectly measures twenty-five full phases. Throughout much of Desdumonae, special Phase towers have been built and are manned by the Phase Guild. They contain bells that are rung for every phase of the day as a way for the world to keep track of time. For every Phase, there is a specific bell or a string of bells rung to signal the time of day. | Log in |
