Re: Lunna
About
The Lunna, or often called the people of the moon, are a unique race in that they are both a waeter and landic race. Created from the crystal clear waters of Desdumonae combined with a kiss of the twelve moons that keep watch, the Lunna are a unique race in both creation and looks. Charis is the Island they call home and it is said that it was created specifically for their kind. Though the Lunna may live together on Charis, they are not at peace. Once a single large tribe, they cohabited in on region but one Ryunnaka's influence on their Queen tore their empire apart. She married a Ryunnaka at a young age and fell prey to his deceit and lies. Using his handsome and appealing charm, he won her heart and each setting of the great light after their marriage, the young Queen began to see a different man. Though she could see his evil, she refused to allow harm to come to him. She had hope that one day, he would change and see the light. Although she was Queen and he was only her husband, he rose to complete power, utterly stripping her of her duties. He finally locked her away after he replaced all her council with more evil Ryunnaka. Using the power he now had, he ruined her pure reputation and many turned away, creating their own empire. Many remained loyal hoping the Queen would somehow prevail.
The rest of the story claims that a young man named Mordred came across the Island during his venture around the world and rescued both Charis and her Queen. Even if this was true, because Mordred is considered a fable by most, it seems as though he was unable to heal the hurt and betrayal the two separated empires harbored.
Today, Charis is separated into to halves like a moon that has been split apart. Each empire rules over one halve. The Weater Tribe were the loyal followers of the Queen. The Landic Tribe were the forsaken ones or so they call themselves.
Appearance
Lunna are unique in their looks. Each tribe has a special look about them created from the type of magic that exists among the people. The Weater Tribe tend to be beautiful and exotic. On the other hand, the Landic Tribe are very hard and simplistic.
Both races are similar in the way their ears are pointy, fin-like and lined with scales. Their bodies are covered in scales, mostly the lower body. The feet, if any, are normally webbed along with their hands, but hands are more often then not unwebbed and delicate. Occasionally, a fin can be seen protruding from the back of their upper arm and down the center of their backs. Some have fins instead of feet, others have limbs that are covered in scales and almost always have a fin protruding from the calves. Skin, hair and eye colors vary from pale white to all shades of green and blue.
Personality
The Lunna have not special personality traits. Each is unique and different in their own special way. Many come off as being shy, meek, quiet and watchful.
Language
The Lunna's language consists of a long and complicated series of squeaks clicks, odd noises and inaudible sounds.
Magicka
The Lunna do not harbor elements. They simply "emit" magicka. This is called (NAME HERE). The tribe a Lunna is involved in will depict what type of magicka a Lunna will emit. Much of the "feel" of the magicka within the city and coming from a being is interpreted as good or evil. Although one may "feel" evil, it is indeed not evil to begin with. Only the person can decide how their magicka will be or could be interpreted.
